Refund Policy

This policy covers one-time AIAether Likeness talk-time packs. For Dodo checkout purchases, Dodo Payments is the merchant of record. AIAether Likeness Technologies LLP handles questions about the app and your talk-time balance, and Dodo handles the payment refund.

1. Unused packs and change of mind

You can request a change-of-mind refund within 14 calendar days of purchase if the purchased pack’s minutes are unused. We’ll check the wallet history and coordinate eligible refunds with the merchant of record. Creating a twin or using free text chat does not by itself count as spending talk time.

The 14-day unused-pack policy is an additional option. It does not limit any longer cancellation period or other remedy available under applicable law.

2. Missing minutes, duplicate charges, or service problems

If you were charged and your minutes did not appear, the same purchase was charged twice, or the paid service is faulty or materially different from what was described, contact us with the receipt reference. We’ll investigate and provide or coordinate the remedy available under applicable law. The unused-pack rule does not apply to statutory remedies for these issues.

3. Cancellation and local consumer rights

Consumers in the EU or UK may have a statutory right to cancel an online digital purchase, generally within 14 days of the contract, subject to local rules and exceptions. You can exercise an applicable right without giving a reason. Immediate access, use of minutes, or creating a twin does not automatically waive that right. Any exception or permitted deduction depends on the type of purchase and whether the required disclosures, requests, consent, acknowledgements, and confirmations were provided.

Australian consumers retain any applicable consumer guarantees and remedies. If mandatory rights apply in another country or region, including a different cancellation period or a refund for non-delivery, those rights also apply.

4. How to request a refund or cancel

Email [email protected] or use the support contact on your Dodo receipt. Tell us that you want to cancel or request a refund and provide your AIAether account email, purchase date, pack size, and receipt or payment reference. For a billing or technical issue, tell us what happened. Please do not send your full card number or security code.

If exercising a statutory cancellation right, you can write: “I am notifying you that I cancel my purchase of the AIAether Likeness talk-time pack,” followed by your name, order date, and payment reference. You can also use another clear statement.

5. Processing an approved refund

Approved refunds are generally sent to the original payment method through the merchant of record. Your payment provider or bank determines when the credit appears. The amount includes taxes to the extent applicable to the refund. Refunded minutes may be removed from the wallet. For a purchase made through another provider, use the receipt details for that purchase when contacting us.
